| | | Rgivens | 07-27-2011 06:07 PM | How to avoid initial investigations? Hello,
How do I get around having to verify my identity with eBay?
Thanks. |
Welcome to the forums - read around and get the stealth guide to understand stealth. Then worry about identity. |

(that's who referred me.) I completely understand how to create a stealth account, but can't seem to sell anything without having eBay temporarily suspend my account pending an investigation.
Very annoying.. hehe. |
Well - then it's your methodology that needs work - maybe you are selling too fast? your choice of product? Lot of info is missing to analyse |

Open a new stealth account. List a product within 48 hours (of any category.). eBay notices and puts my account up for review. I call, verify, fail review.. they ask to send in documents.. I send them in.. they never respond.
That's basically what I'm going through.. |
You aren't building up buying feedback? Browsing? |

Nothing "Bypasses" per say BUT definitely NOT selling right away shows your account as more relaxed. Wait 2 weeks to see though some ppl opt for 3 days. |
I am thinking ebay must have some sort of algorithm that flashes up ebay accounts (from the milions in existance) in certain situations that hit certain 'suspicious' account activity criteria....

| ragemundo | 07-28-2011 02:59 PM | I think Ebay has started giving the MC010 to everyone. 4 months ago I would open 5 accounts and all of them would pass verification. In the past month and a half I have opened almost 10 accounts and all of them except one was hit with the MC010. Ebay's rules just recently got more strict. I have tried selling everything from books to wireless mouse and still get hit even after buying feedback and searching the web for 2 weeks before selling anything and I still get hit....
but my friend opens an account and somehow its unlimited and he has 50+ feedback in less than a week.
Ebay is retarded I think they randomly mess with accounts. Just keep trying. |

Thanks. | You learn by trial and error or you can purchase an account from someone who already knows how it's done and has an account ready to go with some selling history. |

| Road-Kill | 07-29-2011 10:13 AM | That seems pointless. |
Trial and error brings experience. |
| ragemundo | 07-29-2011 01:02 PM | Everything was stealth. There was no possible way of the accounts ever being linked. Quote:

I had 2 stealth accounts suspended because I forgot this important step and used the same window user account of a previous suspended account. |

for starters, dont take anything ebay does as personal.
It's WAR. Nothing more, nothing less. You are at battle with them.
So, YOU need to be aware of as much as you can of doing your best in a skirmish. That means careful study, preparation and determination.:juggle:
You need to know how to create an account
What to do with an account
And that is before you even list.
You need your excel sheet
You need preparation.
Up to you if you want to do that method :pop2: |

You do have to click confirm your reg info before you get the quiz option, so you can change it then.
Here is a tip they can't block even if it is public. I have been using it and it greatly increases my chances of passing the quiz. I am now 3 for 7 using it.
Since they are now using DMV database in most states, drive to a neighborhood where the owners cars are parked in their driveway. Now when you use the address you will have the make model and license number. If those questions are not in the original 4, let it timeout and get 4 more. I always get asked some car info, like what is the color of this car, or what license plate number for this car, or which car do you own. |
| slapped | 08-01-2011 10:03 PM | MC 010 are NOT The Enemy,,,They Should NOT Be avoided,,They are actually good for your account,,,Once you Get Past them Successfully that is,,So that should be your Goal,,,To Create and Prerare you accounts to Successfully Pass an MC 010 Violation,,,Once you master that,,,Then Your Cookin with Gas |
