I am always weary of newbies, especially the ones that know a lot already and give advice to others pretty much soon after they join.

Some could be working for the dark side or others have been banished from here only to return under a covert name......

Good point! I have been selling on Ebay for about 10 years. First time, after 7 years I was hit with VERO. Second account, I created my own by reading A LOT!! In April, I was restricted because my DSR fell just enough to keep me from selling. Teaching is more than Ia full time job, so I listed it takes me about 3-4 days to get things out sometimes. Do you think buyers care? Obviously not! I was careless and created another account the same week and did everything right except changing my MAC address. They told me I was "using the same machine". My activity on the site must be somewhere before I bought the stealth guide, even dating back 7 years ago!! =) As soon as I got the guide, I saw my mistake immediately. I hate Ebay with a passion...and to think they are only 150 miles from me...hehe! ...if you know what I mean! I would love for anyone to beat the system. My family thinks I am crazy and should quit before I get in trouble with IRS. I think I should give it another shot! I will PM my account info if I ever get going again! I am so paranoid that I am ready to buy a new pc, router, and modem. The one thing I am VERY weak on is changing my IP and Mac addresses. This is my last chance to get on...at least what my other half is telling me (or worst half!!) and I have to make sure it is PERFECT!! I need someone to come here and show me =) You are probably think I am a real idiot LOL!! I don't know everything, but I have done A LOT of leg work..PM me and I will tell you who I really am...or maybe I shouldn't trust you:suspicious: LOL!!

How do people get banned from this site? I did see one last week that said "banned" and was still posting on this site? How does that work?

Rudeness, no manners, do not adhere to forum rules, foul language, bad attitude, illegal activities and some other things (all reasonable)..... I dont know how the banned user was still able to post.

I know of one on this site that is pretty rude and makes snide remarks.

No, but you have "communicated" with the person today :shocked: I guess I shouldn't have shared my life "Ebay" story, but I am hoping I can earn some trust on the site. :yar:

They can't post after they have been banned. But when they do get banned it automatically shows up in every post that they have ever written. Kinda like how your "post number" updates in every old thread.

If I'm wrong I'm sure GB or someone will correct me.

Probably me. Some people just need put in their place sometimes instead of coddled and spoonfed info.

I have to agree with GT. Absolutely nothing wrong with telling it as it is. Why sugar coat anything? Especially since most of us should be mature adults. All it does is give a false sense of security or self-dignity, because you got babied instead of someone being real with you. But there are the handful that got babied growing up and will end up being in their 30s expecting to still be babied. Which they may turn out to be a serial killer, rapist, cho-mo, etc..

If you cant take a little constructive criticism, then you'll never succeed. Sometimes its easier for the person on the outside looking in to see things that others may not. Or, you may be thinking you're doing something wrong, but when someone else tells you that your messin up, its easier to accept. Theres always gonna be some flaws or faults. But we learn from those mistakes and should also learn from others mistakes, but most of us (myself included) are a little hard-headed.

I took an Anger Management class when I was in prison. Thats what they teach us. LoL Constructive criticism.. Cognitive thinking.. Having contingency plans..
