Default Uploading Documents To Paypal

Hi all,

As there appears to be some reliability issues with some of these online fax services, would it be okay to upload black and white .jpgs of my stealth docs? Would it raise any suspicions with them being in black and white? They were scanned on a relatively low resolution so they look like they have been photocopied on a really awful machine but everything is still legible.

I could easily explain if asked why they are in b&w but with pp you can never be too sure.

What do you think?

Yep black and white is perfect. I always upload .jpgs in black and white and never had a problem.

Most 3 in 1 printers save a scanned document as a jpeg. If it doesn't do it by default then change you settings in the scanner's software.

If the above method does not work for you, you can open the resulting scan image in photoshop or your prefered image software and the 'save as' option will let you choose the format.

Go to MS Paint.

On the Menu bar, under "Print" you should see "From Scanner or Camera". Then you can choose Color, Grayscale, Black and White, etc. This is how it is in Windows 7.

Then it loads the image in paint, and you can save it any format you like ( jpg, bmp, etc. )

The others have pretty much answered this. But you can also upload a .pdf if you prefer.

If it is done in a relatively low resolution they can zoom in all they want.

You really don't want them zooming in unless you are at the top of your game. Leave PDFs for the experts - run with JPGs at 96dpi or 72 dpi res.
