Default Will E BAY suspend account if PP is limited due to not providing TAX ID???

Due to the fact I'm not able to provide TAX ID or SSN PP will limit my account soon. What will happen with the Ebay account?
Thats what I found on pp:
In 2011, if you do not provide your tax ID number (Social Security Number (SSN), Employer Identification Number (EIN), or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)) after we’ve requested it, we may place the following limitations on your account:

You’ll be unable to receive funds into your account.
You won’t be able to close your account.
The limitations will be removed after your provide your tax ID number.

I think you answered your own question:

"You’ll be unable to receive funds into your account.
You won’t be able to close your account."

Just in case I could provide the TAX ID later the limitations will be removed by pp right?
This would be a reason for e bay to suspend my account?

I'm having a problem with this right now actually. I received the request for a EIN. I provided PP with my EIN and upgraded to a business account. I still receive emails all the time asking me "What's the problem?" because I haven't added my EIN. Many calls to PP, and still the message comes up on my account. I gave them the info, but they won't remove the header requesting the info. I too, and worried that my account will be affected from this.

Yep, I know what emails you r talking about. Just wondering how many they will send before they limit the account.

You can call paypal and give the the EIN directly if you want. That is easier in my opinion. I have done that before.

I think I just have to wait and see what will happen. Still have no idea what to do.
Maybe I should just call PP and ask them what to do or send an email.

If you are not going to call them you will just have to wait and see.

If they suspend it then they will release the account as soon as you post it. They might give you a couple weeks but they are the only ones that will know for sure.'

Either way, whats the worst that can happen. YOu get the ID and post it. They release and you are good to go. Get a tax person to help you with anything with the IRS. you will be in for a surprise if you do not.

Correct, You must hit both. Dont use ebay as a way to count. You have to use paypal. You would be surprised how fast shipping and outside of ebay sales add up.

On another note, you are required to pay taxes on any amount you make but paypal is just required to file the amount with the IRS on your behalf. You still have to post other sales, etc though. Also try to pay taxes with the estimated tax forms quarterly so you dont get hit too hard on tax day.
