Question about limited PayPal, Bank Accounts, and Funds.

I have read a lot in the forum about keeping a bank account after your account has been limited or deleting right after. Here is my question:

Right now I have about 2,000 sitting in a limited account. I know that PayPal is going to contact buyers and there will be several disputes I will have to deal with. My first question is: where are the funds for these disputes coming from? Will PayPal use the 2,000 it has hostage, or try to take it from my checking account?


Second, according to Burning's thread, I will be able to add another checking account to get my funds out after 180 days. Has anyone else done this? I just don't want my account getting overdrawn because of disputes while they are holding my 2,000 hostage. Any help would be appreciated!

eBay only contacts buyers if you were selling foo-foo items. If this is the case, then anyone who opens a dispute on you is guaranteed to get their money back, and it will be deducted from your paypal account. After the 180 days is up, you will have access to your money.

yes ebay will refund your buyers from your paypal balance before attempting your bank account.

You can add another bank account after the 180 days is up so you can withdraw your remaining balance
