Question Refunding from paypal when your dispute is in ebay?

So if a buyer opens the dispute in ebay and the money gets held in paypal. Can you refund from paypal? I just tried, but don't see the option anymore like months before. I have to refund from my ebay account in resolutions center?

Exactly how it works. I wonder if this is a way to avoid +open+ cases problem I still get jackholes who lie and say they contact me,when they didn't and the case does end up listed under open cases so the new seller protections are crap

once the dispute has been opened up in paypal via ebay you cannot refund the person unless you do so through the option in the ebay dispute.

I have confirmed with paypal via telephone and they have told me once the dispute is open then it must be resolved via the dispute you cannot issue the refund via paypal and the option is as youve rightly pointed out removed.

They wont even issue the refund when you call them which is what i did when i couldnt find the refund option

You may even be able to convince the buyer to close it.

I have a feeling buyer will close dispute. Key to keep accounts is not for them to look at your accounts. I have stopped complaining about buyers doing stupid violating stuff. Its just not worth it. Never let a buyer contact support.. if you have any negatives

IF they already opened the dispute, and you want to go ahead and refund, there is an option in the ebay dispute case. There is usually a option in paypal to refund but once a case is open that option may go away. Not sure?

why not just refund them thru ebay? Whats the difference?

If you refund otherwise maybe they will close the case and you wont get a open case hit.
