Yes, I am cashing out directly to a prepaid debit card from PayPal and from Amazon, then going to the ATM to pull out the money or swiping the card through my SquareUp card reader.
When I mentioned currency exchangers, I was just giving you different ideas and alternatives. | Apologies for my ignorance but are you using the pre-paid debit as the bank account? |
@madmuppet303, Most Pre-Paid Cards that we are using are the kind that give you a Checking Account Number, and a Routing Number..Look for Cards that advertise "Direct Deposits" those are the ones you want. |

| GrannyT | 07-01-2012 10:28 AM | Should think so too sax4 - but there are a lot of problems with it at the moment |
| madmuppet303 | 07-20-2012 03:21 PM | I got an American Express pre-paid card and got the routing and account number and asked the rep on the phone if it could be used to transfer money from Paypal and he advised that it wouldn't work for that; only direct deposit would work. Anyone used this card for cashing out? I think I'm going to try it anyway and see what happens. :pop2: |

Here's another idea.. Get yourself a square up card, that is linked to your bank account. You can buy the square up card device at Walmart (Id recommend doing this on a seperate occasion though)..
Anyway, do what you did in order to get the Amex GC.. Then, once you get outside to your card, plug the square up card device into your iPhone and Android phone, start the app.. Once app is loaded, enter in the dollar amount in which you want to charge you GC, then swipe the AMEX GC.. Viola! You'll have the money in your bank account the very next day..
:-D
For more info on the SquareUP Card, please go to www.SquareUp.com or PM me, I use them frequently and have a fair amount of knowledge. :thumb::thumb: |
so i can transfer amex funds to my bank like this? i though there is only purchase options. any fees ? |
| EbanYtsa | 07-28-2012 04:14 PM | guys from squarebs not stupid, first its required ssn and verification -ok not a problem, second its required your current location (mobile)-ok not a problem, but they didn't accept any of my prepaid bank account's !) only real banks like Chase and bankofindonesia will works
any trials? |
| BLT_onlinecashqueen | 08-04-2012 07:13 PM | I agree with what some others have suggested.....put a prepaid debit card, one that allows direct deposit (gives you a routing number and account number) using your real information. Since PP does not see the names on bank accounts, or address etc you can use that to withdraw to your prepaid debit. Some of those allow you to use any ATM without fees, I have them and they work fine to withdraw funds. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:56 AM. | |
