Default Kind of a new test for new Ebay accounts

Figured that it is time to give back to the community...

I am hoping that some sellers will get use out of what I have been testing for the past 3 months. This is for new stealth accounts and for people who wish to try and list right away.

Out of the 13 stealth accounts I set up (dummy accounts) 12 of them are still running. (I hope it stays this way) 1 only because I got linked with a card that I forgot I tried before and didn't toss.

I advise you to have the following on hand:

1:vanilla visa gift card that you can register with the seller account
2:new phone number
3:new ip
4:a new paypal (verified) account

Now, I know the more seasoned sellers do this and already know this method, So, I hope I am helping those new to the stealth game.

1st off, I still recommend that you purchase the Stealth Book. Aspkin has devoted a lot of time to help us out and I wish to thank him for allowing me to feed my family in this trying time.

2nd, YOU STILL NEED TO GO SLOW! do not hop on ebay selling vero and high risk 200 buck stuff then complaining when your account is toast. Junk, junk and more JUNK!

Now, onto the method: Sometimes, I need to start selling right away on a newer account. (who doesn;t when it comes to paying the bills?) Once I set up a stealth account, I call e bay with the number I registered on the stealth account...

Yes, I can hear it now. (you are nuts!!) Actually, what I am doing is trying to sound like a total newbie from start to finish. And I am going to take some 'lovely' reps time for them to help me :D

When I call, I ALWAYS respect the representative on the other end. You get a shi tty rep, hang up and try again. But, chances are, they are eager for your business and will treat you nicely.

I start off with things like "can you clarify what I need obtain to purchase items on ebay? I have heard so much about it, but I am kinda nervous..."

Once the rep explains their speel, I act like I have 'accidentally' clicked on the sellers tab. Then I come up with some bull that I clicked the wrong button, but I am interested in selling off some junk now that I am on the site...

At this point, I ask the rep to walk me through the process. Again, I am a total newbie and somewhat computer illiterate...The reps will be very happy to assist you with that. I even ask about selling limits (if they pop up) because..again, total noob.

Anyway, I will list something like a book, or something from home, always with the rep on the phone (as I am taking pictures, writing the description, etc) All the way up until I get to the part where I need to add a credit card...well, they are usually happy to help you with that as well and tends to make things go a lot smoother. I sometimes try to push my luck and list a few more items as well. (After about 4 items I chicken out)
^ This also avoids the dreaded 'please call ebay with this code' message because the rep is there to bypass that.

Once that happens, I am usually in the clear for THOSE items already listed.
I still try to wait a few days till I list again.

Please note: this does NOT pass the paypal holds. Sometimes I get the holds, most of the times I do not. But that is because I keep my customers happy.

Please let me know if you would like me to clarify anything.

Good luck

Default Interesting tactic

I would never have thought of the clueless new user angle.

Thanks for sharing this thought provoking post with the community.

Nice one, very nice.

That's the way to play with them.

Dont forget it's an ebay account and by coincidence it is stealth.

Still makes money
