Default Which way is best to ship?

So it will be time for me to ship soon(YAY!) but needing some input...which method works best for everyone? Should I go to the post office and use my real return address? Should I use click n ship and then cross out the address part...or should I leave the stealth address? Thanks in advance.

It all depends on what you sale. If you have high value items and it might be a return, it is best to print it out and cross out the stealth.
Don't stand on line at the post office, it is such a waste of time. Plus it cost more by the window then online. A couple of pennies on one package, soon will add up to a lot.

If your stealth address is one where you can accept returns then use that. If it isn't you could use your actual address but it is risky, it might be a good idea to invest in a UPS box.

For example with your actual address you never know when someone will return something without your knowlledge and then open a dispute when you haven't refunded it. In the dispute they may list your actual address as the address they returned to.

Understand what I am driving at?

Good luck to you newstart, although just to clarify I wasn't talking about a PO Box, I was talking about a UPS box. Ebay doesn't like PO Boxes and with a UPS box you get an actual address.

I had a few of them a while back, one was only 9.99 a month but the other was I believe 29.99. You just have to shop around, each one makes their own prices, UPS stores are franchises owned by individuals.

Yes I think many of us know that feeling very well. An even better feeling is when you finally figure it all out and only need to concentrate on your sales. This site is great, we're all thankful!

The best way to ship is using endicia. Works amazing.

Hello,
I use various addresses with my stealth accts.
But,for returns only, I use my moms address, which is in a different city.
Maybe you could think a little creatively...
Good luck

The majority of buyers will message you before returning the item back. You can leave your stealth address on and use their PP email to email them your real address, say you moved or something.

There are problems with this method, sometimes they won't send to an unconfirmed address and want to be protected by PP so you have to refund them first and hope for the best. They also might just send the item back to the return address without contacting you first, this happens very rarely, can't remember the last time it happened to me.

That's why the option to use a pobox is nice - you can alter it a bit to re-use the address and still get returns.
