resilient | 12-06-2011 02:21 PM | OK, to sum up, we've all come to the agreement that the PP bank verification works with DIFFERING names on most banks (Barclay's excluded as discussed above, I've heard that Lloyds and H.s.b.c are a no go either, any others to avoid????? all input welcome).
Also, if someone's missed it, as mentioned in the thread, in the PP direct debit form one must fill their bank branch address, NOT their personal address on file with the bank! SO no worries if your PP and bank addresses differ!
Now, let me drop another question in the mix. I'm sure we all agree with the fact that if you have more than one accts with a certain bank, you still have only ONE PROFILE with the bank (one name, address, etc...) and no matter how easy it is to open an account with a new bank, sooner or later, one will run out of new banks!!! SO the question is, if you decide to link more than one PP stealths to different accts in the same bank, will the bank approve the direct debits?
Obviously, the PP requests will come under different names, and not only that but none of the names will match your own. All input highly appreciated as always... |
