Default Just bought an eBay account. How do i start selling with a new paypal?

Hi,

I am a new user here. This is my first post, but ive been reading the threads all week. I have a subscription here and have read eBay Stealth thoroughly . I have looked through other threads but havn't found my answer exactly. Please dont cap on me right away as a noob, as we are all here to help each other.

I just bought an account off an acquaintance. 10 buyer feedback. year old. never sold on the account. They are cool with me keeping all the information just not the paypal. Even let me have the gmail that was connected to it. They live in the same neighborhood so they are local also.

I know i should not risk changing all the information at once. Will it be ok to link it with a paypal with different information? Should i even change the information thats on the ebay account since my friend is cool with it.. I have seen people sell paypal accounts on this forum. how does that work? I am in canada by the way.

I would just like to start selling. and i know i need to start slow which i will do.

(ps. dont you think there are people on ebay on these threads trying to flag us? can they find our IP through these threads..)

Thanks in advance everyone!

Welcome to the forum.

To answer your last question first, not likely. All that is well under control so no need for the tinfoil hat. That said, you should be careful of how you access ebay etc etc. ANd that's another thread entirely.

I can see where you are coming from regarding this account. However, it's not something I would ever endorse as a long term selling plan. What your friend accepts today may change tomorrow. Therefore that leaves you without an viable account.
My preference is to have all info matching with ebay/paypal. funnily that's their preference as well.
Could I suggest to you that you think of making your own stealth accounts and keeping this as a backup account?
Others will post their thoughts as well

I've never tried myself but, been reading lately a handful of sellers saying that yes you are allowed to attach a Payp under a new name with different details. This is just rumor though, I won't believe it until I try myself. There is a high possibility this is true though, I just don't see why you would have to unless it was for special circumstances like yours. As GB suggest might as well just create a new eB stealth acc and two stealth Payp for good measure and play with both.

I dont think it would hurt to try it.

You are just taking a chance and will learn from your experience.

You really need to learn the ropes a bit before you attempt this or you will possibly mess up and link something etc and take the account down.

The issue for me would making sure they do not have access to your money if they have access to the account and changing passwords etc after making these types of changes would draw a flag.

I dont see why it cant be done but i personally would not want my account set-up like that. Your best long term solution IMO would be the same as GB's and that is keep this as a back up and start a new matching stealth ebay/paypal and start learning from a account that is new and not much to lose..Good luck

Guys make sure if you do decide to do this that the previous Payp attached is NOT limited or there was never a previous Payp attached anyways. I'm almost certain if you try to add another Payp regardless of different details that's linked to a limited Payp the new Payp will get limited as well.

Don't do it. It might work but you will get nervous all the time because you never know when it's going to die.
