Default using relatives info

been on the forums reading for a few months since i got suspended. i have also been reading the stealth guide as well but i am a little confused. i want to open a new account under a relatives name(same last name). she never would use ebay, heck she doesnt even own a cpu. if i use all here info and use the new account from the same cpu as the suspended account is there a possibility to get linked from the ip address?

i use my account for personal stuff on ebay and occassionally my wife sells our kids clothes on there as well. we had around 100 items bought and sold with 100% feedback before the suspension.

thanks in advance!

im not even going to read you post and just assume that you want to use a relatives info to set up stealth.

DONT DO THIS EVER

making up names is so much fun. addresses are a dime a dozen. phone numbers are easy to come by. dont drag your family, friends, neighbors, dog, or any other person close to you down with you when you crash and burn.

Its very easy to change the CPU, just open the side of the desktop computer and pull out some other parts and then change the CPU yourself.

It is not advisable to use relatives, friends, family data at all.
It never ends well, not for you and not for them. Do research and take another route that is safer for all
As for the cpu, that is easy. for ip , that s even easire..Search the forum and you will find dozens of advises in those matters
Best of luck

What did you get suspended for? that is what you need to look at before you do anything.(hopefully not using others info)

You need to learn from that mistake so it doesnt happen again. Its pretty bad though if you got suspended and you are mainly a buyer.

what did you do wrong. Just curious.

can someone please explain to me why everyone is so against using a relatives info if that relative cares nothing about using ebay? what am i missing? please advise!

using your relative info can lead to many complications such as legal complication concerning IRS for instance.
you say your relative cares nothing about eb, but how about the consequences, did you fully make him/her understand that.
There was a thread among many, that a guy have used his mother's info and he needed to submit her docs including ssn and that led to a BIG problem and we all advised him to resort to legal and accounting advice.

Now, making up data for a new account is not that difficult and will save you the future hassle, research the forum.
If this is not possible for you, buy a ready made account from one of the forum authorized sellers.

Plan ahead & Best of luck

that makes sense. but in my case she is well aware of it and would be willing to supply any info required. just wondering which would be best using her info or buying a account? what are the risks of buying an account?

contact a seller and start communicating and he/she will guide you through, check their profile and feedback and go with the one you feel comfortable with.
I would say buying the account is good, but what matters what you do with it after you buy it

Its easy to get unlimited info, everything you need stealth, including opening bank accounts. It took me almost a year of research to find it... Some people are lucky and find it sooner. At first I started with buying accounts from authorized sellers here.

Starting with buying accounts is a good way to start until you can gather everything you need so you do not need to rely on anyone else.

And

Of course the stealth guide which really is the key in getting it all going

Opening 1 stealth pp allows you to operate many sellers websites. I limit myself to 5 sites per stealth.

20 active accounts x5 = 100 seller outlets

You would be surprised at the amount of sales you can do. It does though require serious organization. These days there are many programs and apps that allow you to operate very smoothly...

Good luck! Happy Superbowl day!

If they are ok with it ,why not i use a friend name and they gave me the docs to submit,if your selling dodgy gear ,not paying tax, or owe paypal money its gonna be a hard one to explain when you get a knock at the door if you dont tell them first.
Theres also no point in using a friends or family details if you dont tell them and get docs from them is there???

Few negative comments about using family names for your eBay, i'm prove it works, specially if your not a business and not selling alot of items, which it sounds like your only selling the odd item here and there.

I have an account on my family member name were i sell 2/3 products been awhile know it's all going fine even lifted my limits up by using my families documents so it's legit.

Also using a families name/address saves you time and money, so no need to pay for a virtual address/ phone number etc etc.

I'd say for got it, if it's more of a personal account nothing to worry about, someone mentioned IRS above they will not contact if your wifes selling cloths sometimes and selling small items. I sell everyday and no contact from them so you got nothing to worry about.

Just make you don't sell VERO items which obviously lead to limitations/bans, or high risk items - well thats upto to you.

I use my account for buying and selling aswell.

Hope this helps.

it does more than you know thanks for the great advise. really dont understand why a lot of peeps on this thread is so dead against it. especially when it clearly states in the stealth guide to go for it.

you can use your relatives info but as long as you withdraw money to your own account and make sure that the monthly deposit from paypal is no more than $10 000 as then the bank will notify irs of the large sums of money coming in everymonth.

Change your ip as you do not want it linking.

If you have no experience using stealth methods then I strongly advise you not to use a families information as you will lose the account and maybe a family member to boot.

Even if someone currently does not use ebay they might some day and if you screw their name and address up then you will be in some serious trouble.

I do not like the idea of using any family or friends names or addresses at all but if you must then you need to be experienced and already successful so you dont screw over your family or friends name, address etc.

It does not cost me much at all to start an account. A top up card cost 10 bucks, a VV cost you a few dollars and you are good to go.

If you cannot afford 15 bucks to start and get an account going then you need to do something else.

Things have changed since since that version of the guide was made. Both eb and pp make changes everyday and so should you to adjust to those changes.

Have you bought the book? Your moniker does not show you have yet you mention something that is mention in the guide.

If you have read the book you would not be asking a simple questions about IPs that you did.

My point exactly about using a families name and address. If you do not understand the easy IP info then you have no need to use a families info as you will get it banned real quick.

Why not get the book, learn and start your own account with stealth info?

I have tons of accounts up and running and never needed to use a families info at all.

Then again I would never put them at risk just in case someday they might need to use ebay with the economy going downhill like it is right now.

More and more people are looking into finding ways to make extra money and ebay is one place people who need some extra cash go so they can sell household items or items they dont need to raise cash until they get back on their feet.

I do stand my ground, do not use family, relatives, friends info, more bad than good outcomes.
Anyhow, it's your choice...Best of luck

Stealth was written some time ago. Life has changed & teh forum itself gives the up-to-date info.

One of the main reasons we are advising agaist using relatives names is a little matter of TAXES.

Did't notice your plan for taxes. You should have one. You are earning money so taxes are payable.

Not sure your relative has been correctly advised if you have not taken this serious matter into consideration.
