Does Pay Pal have a new bank verification method?
 

So, I opened a new account with PP, opted for the 2 small deposits to sun trust. Next morning, they were there. Only they were deposited and then immediately debited. Called bank and they said pay pal debited them. (I was wondering if they sent it back because names didn't match.) But I verified paypal fine, and no emails yet saying that they got the deposits back...

weird, never happened before....wondering if they are getting familiar with the deposits going to accounts that can receive deposits but not able to make ach withdrawals?

Update: I have since started using instant verify and I have had no problems.

yeah its been a on going issue now. We dont know if pp can see the names or night but my bets are they can see the names on the bank account holders.

:doh: seems to be some trouble with the instant verify option, that would suck if they take it away and force the deposits. Anyone else having issue's with the instant verify? :fight:

I went ahead and set up a Paypal then when I tried to confirm instantly it showed a 1-3min process time then I got the page that said confirm your bank account by deposit?

Well after attempting to instantly verify my ally bank account I kept getting taken to the send deposits page, I never clicked for the option and logged out. When I logged back in they did it with out my consent and keep in mind I was only trying to verify instantly so know I have to wait and see if I get the deposits and withdrawal, limitation anyone?:help:

Now with Bank Of America I was able to instantly confirm.

Sometimes the insant verfiy wont work ive seen this happen before u just have to do the 2-3 day or add another bank and do insant verfiy again

Paypal can not see the account holders name only what been told to them and the routing numbers and account numbers.

I open up accounts now as dba so the real name can not be known only to the bank with my ssn
