Default PayPal 21 days review account ? Its been 2 months now! how long it takes ?

Hello!

Guys I have opened a new Pp and ebay acc. Of course I have no feeedback and this is a new fresh stealth acc. I have sold one thing and immediately PP hold temporary (for 21 days like its said) my funds ..and balance is pending ... cool i have no problem. but....

after a two weeks he is releasing my money... (every single item sold he is giving my money after 2 weeks or more)

my question is .. how long paypal is going to be doing this ? and when they will stop holding any funds that r coming to my acc ??? I thought its going to be a month or sth..

I have now 5 feedback and 2 months selling ( low volume 2 items a week or 3 items a week)

thanks!

Depends on lots of factors. I had one account that has never had holds (now with 70+ seller feedback). I have another account that was still getting holds with 100 seller feedback. The holds stopped after hitting 100 (and approx 3 months after 1st sale). Both accounts had 100% feedback and high DSRs (4.9s and 5.0s).

Once you get through the initial 21 days, holds no longer become a further problem on cash flow.

According to p/p holds can be placed on accounts at any time depending on seller performance/opened cases/volume increase/high risk items etc. etc. etc.

In other words they will place holds on any account, at any time no matter how old if they feel like it.

I'm well aware of this - thanks.

My initial response to the OP stated it depended on a lot of factors. I was only citing a few examples of PP holds from my own experience.

As you rightly point out, PP holds can be re-applied to any account where Paypal see either the transaction or the account holder as a risk (for whatever reason).

No rhyme or reason with pp.

I have accounts well over 100 fb and a year old or more and still have holds.

I have accounts with 22 fb and 4 months old no holds.

Nothing they do makes sense.

They usually go away after 90 days in most cases, but can come back out of nowhere for any reason. Just handle your business and be patient.
