Revising the existing listing (seller limit comes up)
Hi All,
I need help since eBay (Australia) is really annoying.
I tried to revise my listing, which is fragrance, and suddenly the below message comes up (as usual): "Attention Sellers:
In order to help maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on listings. You currently have such a limit on your account. Please do not attempt to relist this item for 30 days.
Sellers who have a consistent positive selling history of such items may be eligible to have these limits raised. If you would like eBay to review your limits or if you have any additional questions, please email Customer Support.
Find out more about eBay’s listing guidelines.
You may be able to list this item in 28 days."
I do realise that I can only list certain amount of item/quantity in a month (in my case 5). I already used that 5, but now I just want to revise my exisitng listing (because I put the price too high) and ebay blocked me? I don't even add the qty, so in total is still 5.
I asked ebay CS online, and this is what he said: "Every selling account on eBay begins with limits on certain types or categories of items including Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry, Watches.
These added security measures are designed to give sellers time to build a positive track record with buyers which is an essential part of the eBay experience. These limits remain on each account until the account is eligible to have them raised by Trust and Safety. For now you can't list, relist nor revise listings on your account."
And he recommends me to talk to ebay Trust & Safety team, and asked them about this limits.
Do you think ebay will raise my limit, if I email them?
My situation now is, I have about 150+ positive feedback, with about 90 DSR, averaging 4.9.. I'm TRS (recently promoted in middle of March).. Have sold about 150+ listings.. Been with ebay for more than 6 months (start selling sbout 5.5 months).. I've sold fragrances before and all have excellent feedback.. I sold 100% genuine products.
If ebay do email/phone me, what kind of questions that they are going to ask? Am I ready to ask for a selling limit?
Any helps/comments would much much appreciated.
