Default Hey UK sellers, I spoke to a person from the UK today and

Ran into a person on vacation from the UK at Disney World this afternoon and we were discussing of all things the economy.

He asked what type of work do you do here in the US? Is said I used to work in the corporate world and now run an ebay business from home.

He said do you do well? I said yes.

He asked me if I ever sold in the UK and I told him no, I started selling internationally and it was a pain.

He told me that many people from the UK purchase tons of a certain types of product from the US because it is not available in the UK and that I should consider just selling the the people in the UK.

Without posting details online, is there truly that many products made here in the US that people in the UK cannot get?

This man told me many items, not just a few that people here sell over and over in the UK.

He gave me a huge list of items to start listing as I know I have access to them rather easily.

As far as I can remember we can't get your horrible "candy" and chocolate that tastes like melted wax. I think there is a reason for that though

Give me dairy milk any day!

It's not only for the UK, I bought my sister Saucony shoes a while ag from ebay - even with $35 shipping the total cost was still almost half of what it would cost here.

You are missing a lot of buyers by not shipping internationally.

I sold some items for a while internationally and found it to be a royal PITA.

I was thinking of specific products and only selling in the UK because I did not have any troubles when I did sell to customers in the UK.

I told myself I would not sell internationally again but was looking into selling in a specific area that I had no problems with buyers.

Good job Sandy always keeping an open mind and changing with the changes.

You wouldnt want to share a few of those items?

Like you I dont ship international. However lately I began to offer it again. Only as Express Mail with Insurance and $3,50 service charge.

Example Hard drives I often get people from International. They pay $60 to have 2-3 lbs shipped. If they do not like it then they can move on. However those that bite are in for a surprise as it arrives pretty quick and generates excellent feedback. So yea in some cases worth it.
