using laptop at public wifi to access ebay/amaxon accts

I saw similiar posts, but still have questions. After setting up an ebay amazon acct on land based computer - can i access those accts from laptop at public access wifi with no problems? Will ebay or amazon ask some questions to verify it is me or what? I don't want to jeopardize these new accts.

Could get you limited pretty quickly, best to avoid really as other banned users may have used these connections before

Is anyone doing this? I want to be able to access order-messages, etc when I am not at computer acct is set up on. I thought the Amazon Ghost book said it was ok to set up accts on wifi.

As long as you use seperate user accts on laptop to keep cookies and such with right eb/pp acct you should be fine....rooted phone and tethering is much better if that's an option
