Default I it really worth keeping track of IP Addresses

Ok so i have been on stealth a while now and ive got 3 accounts running.

I have a excel spreadsheet and i log every single ip address when i log into

any of my accounts. I also have a duplicate formula to tell me if i have

duplicate IP addresses.

Im on number 409 now and i have not had one duplicate IP address.

I will continue to log them but in wondering if it is worth bothering.

By the way in on the legendary 3 mobile Dongle.

I would say for this working with limited IP ranges it's a must.

If your running a few accounts then dedicated dongles from a range of ISP's is a better option.

May be more costly but much more efficient.

And all along i have said its a must too but why is it a must as i have seen threads on

here saying it is not a big deal. I personally think it is not a big deal as long as you are

on the right network.

IP is a big thing mentioned in the guide - so I think it's worth keeping an eye on it.

I try to think "what if"... and plan for the worst - belts and braces is the best approach.

I had a huuuuuuuge ip spreadsheet too (before the laptop self destructed) and once in a long while I got a repeat. I have had no repeats in my new one so far.

BUT what if...for some reason your ip comes back the same time and time again and then suddenly all your months of hardwork go up in

I agree it is not the be all to end all. I know I have messed up and logged into the same accounts with the same ip before. But that is very rarely...

If I did it day after day or maybe even hour after hour then I think it would be back to square one

I use a Vodaphone dongle on 3 stealth accounts. I keep a track of the iP's as thjey do repeat on Vodaphone (no experience of other dongles). I calculate that on the Voda dongle there seems to be 200 IP's allocated ie: the first six digits are constant, there are 2 sets of the next 3 digits each having the 0 - 100 as the next set of numbers.
On the last 230 connections using the dongle 32 IP's have been repeated, some twice & others up to 4 times.
Don't know if this helps, but it may be of interest.
For the sake of a little effort I'll keep checking mine.

In Your Situation it certainly helps then. I suppose it all depends on what

Dongle or network you are using.

I have been stealth on eBay for 2 years and I have never tracked IP addresses.

I did so at the start until I realized my IP owned a massive number of different IPs and the odds of me getting the same one back are 1 in 500 or more.

I have tons of account and always keep track of my IPs.

I do get duplicates so I am not risking a good account on a duplicate.

I actually have IPs back several years, I know what the IP is, what account I logged in on with it etc.

.
I have seen some duplicates a few times. Depends on ISP I imagine

Not sure if a two month old IP is a killer, but why risk it

I honestly dont think it is a huge risk. They probably get recycled a ton so I imagine its not instant death. But again, its nothing to keep track if nothing but a pain in the ass. So why throw wood on the fire...

i write them down all the time. i think it is important to know what ips youve been using just incase you need to track back.

I have seperate dongles - I also have a sticker on each dongle saying which user account/ and e/b they should be used for.

As long as your dongles are organized you should be good to go.

Running good so far for me - I thing logging my IP would be time consuming (too many accounts) & not necessary at all.

You could label your dongle which will make life much easier.

Are the dongles all the same kind?

Indeed they are.

Because if you have different models you will need to keep deleting and installing software for them all the time on different user accounts - which is highly irritating and time consuming.
