You guys think its worth sending feedback request change for neutrals?

Got my first negative yesterday on my oldest account it's about year old now TRS 700fb - wasn't very happy at all, it was a very unfair - I sent a bloody a essay used up 500 words in the msg to the buyer, trying to explain to them how their minute of anger will highly affect my business and life :D - also refunded them - and sent the request - the buyer removed the negative today and turned into a neutral comment.

I don't really mind the neutral it's actually a good comment now aswell saying their happy.

I do have 8 neutrals now on that account , which ain't too bad i think - still 100% 700+ fb, you guys think it's worth sending fb request changes for neutrals?

I was thinking i should just keep the rest if i get anymore negs in the future.

I am aware that too many neutrals can get you removed from e/b aswell.

morning matey

i rarely use the revision

save them up for a rainy day

email the buyer with some sweet talk

and get him to email you with "im happy for the neutral feedback to be removed"

its enough

call eBay and they will remove it AND the dsr's

ive just cleaned a below std to top rated in a week using that very method

Sweet talk should have been by personal phone call rather than a long winded email.

Minimise the written word as it's really difficult to express yourself correctly.

Follow screwed's advice.

Approach the buyer without giving him a mouthful of woe. (Yes I KNOW it suxs but you have to get thro' that)

Triple check why the pillock did it.Prevent it happening again.

I still loves ya ;)

I have been guilty of using 'sweet talk' via email/letter (I'm afraid I have a bad habit of doing this) & hence placed myself at risk of coming across incorrectly as you state GB. :ballchain:

It can be 'hard' to say whether it came off badly or well for me in several of the situations I've deployed this approach.:noidea: Some fail, some success I guess.

I agree, this approach is better suited to a personal phone call rather than the printed word.

Thanks for the positives replies. :thumb:

I can honestly say i don't have much experience in dealing with feedback, as my general fb is always good - so when I do get bad feedback i panic slightly and start msging ppl.

Nice method screw i like that alot - I think i'll give it a try.

P-S - I Don't love you nomore GB.

:peace:

if you call eby and say that the buyer agrees they can take it off themselves. they look at your conversation histry.

this is true

but

noones gonna be stupid enough to put in ebay messages anything apart from kiss kiss

i want to help

your happiness is paramount

blah blah blah

so when ebay read it they realise how good you are and put you on their "nice guy list"

lol

@Thankful

/quote I sent a bloody a essay used up 500 words in the msg to the buyer

Man you got way too much time on your hands ha

Seriously though, I stopped bothering unless I feel that I can get it changed. When you did refund, etc. I guess you felt you could get him to change the neg but many buyers will likely leave neutral just because the have SEEN a seller get wrapped about it - you wont believe how many people have happiness in seeing other folx squirm =(

Just up sales of low end shiz for feedback.

they_screwed_me_too 05-06-2012 07:22 AM

i ALWAYS get the sentence

:violin: "im a genuine guy trying to make a living for me and the kids, wouldt want any bad feedback to affect my business"

bit of clever psychology/ guilt trip usually does the trick

rsot 05-06-2012 08:12 AM

And you add this note to the EMPTY box you send out tsmt? Wow you must have a psychological HOLD on the buyer =) ha jking.

Good stuff on the note though.

they_screwed_me_too 05-06-2012 08:22 AM

a psychological hold is not what i want

its usually a strangle hold
