Default Question regarding auctions reported

Hi Everyone,
Didn't see a specific post or thread regarding this.. Is it possible for someone to report your auction as fraud, etc if they're on your block bidders list?

I truly think the reason why my legitimate accounts were suspended was because my auctions kept being removed. I think a competitor or weirdo psycho buyer kept reporting my auctions as they were being removed every other week.

I also heard that there are vigilante groups out there that have nothing better to do but monitor products and report them. Ironically, my products were mostly removed right before my auctions ended.

At the time I was selling mostly high-end Cosmetics which is a very high vero item but I had some legit receipts and original boxes backing authenticity in my pics. Any insight would be truly appreciated. Thanks! Tami

Anyone can report anything at anytime. For sure, some competitors do this and some members of the VeRo forum on eb who can be "goody two-shoe"rs...

If you are dealing in cosmetics which is a very competitive market, I can fully bet you would have folx trying to boot you out.

THANKS RSOT...So even though you can block these people from bidding on your items, they can still report an item that your auctioning..That makes sense..You have to see some of the rants that the "goody two shoes groups" discuss.. Once a buyer even told me that they reported me to the Cosmetic Supplier that I was selling.. sticks and stones.. Thanks for hearing me rant.

Yes - it is rough and I can fully bet on the rants that are there ...there are huge eB patrol groups for high risk categories like cosmetics...purses...other stuff.

Snakes everywhere, Tami.

They are rampant in the categories of fashion.

Bored, petty nasties who delight in being horrible. HA

If your items are genuine, and the account can withstand it, always file a counter claim

if they are f a k e s then really you have not got a leg to stand on as it could be the genuine product sellers reporting you

but then again....it could quite easily be someone selling the exact same product wanting your customers

nothing you can do if there f a k e s

Never filed a counter claim against them.. Do we have a thread about this? Would've loved to see their faces when I showed them legit receipts... Thanks again for your help..
