Default Help please - a little bit unusual situation

Hi, back in March I bought a pallet of goods from a retailer who had to give them up because the UK distributor has forced all sellers off of eBay and Amazon! This is some trademark law where a wholesaler can pretend to be the manufacturer and basically force any retailer that doesn't do as their told out of business.

I do have their old emailing list of several hundred previous customers of these products, so I don't need a web site, ebay etc.

The question really is, what's the best way of shifting them?

Currently I'm thinking of emailing the lot of them, offering the goods at great prices, paid through paypal only. For this I am thinking of setting up a new paypal account. The problem is, whilst these products are not HOT (illegal), I'm pretty sure the UK distributor will find out eventually, and will try hard to find who's behind the sale.

Please let me know your opinions on this.

Cheers!

It would be relatively easy for this UK distributor or any determined party whom feel you've infringed their copyright to get onto your list & pose as a buyer to ID you & potential take adverse measures against you.

I won't even start on the problems PP will & could land you in before you've even started on this little pet project.

The best process would be to sell them offline to other retailers. Do classified listings or setup a booth in a flea market or something.
