Default Invoicing ebayers with old PP

Ive been trying to find the answer to this for a while now and just cant seem to find a definitive answer or really one at all. Can someone please help me with this?

One of my ebay accounts got banned last summer. Ive been using a second account since then, it has a good amount of feedback on it with 100% feedback, 90% of it from selling.

The paypal associated with the old banned account is fully SSN verified. I would like to continue using the paypal account with my currently active ebay account because its time I can start pushing more volume. I currently use Skrill with that account but skrill forces people to sign up when making purchases so its a headache. I know I can not link them, but can I send invoices through paypal directly to my customers from that ebay account without linking?

You can but you will need to invoice them through their email address and not Ebay

This is not a good solution for longevity. Be very careful how you word the invoices and realise if you have any complaints your customers may well inform Ebay how they paid you.

Very very risky IMO

Thanks for the response!

Well my problem is I have bad credit and can not get approved for a Merchant account. Skrill is the only option I can use now which I am fine with but my buyers are not.

Sadly, sooner or later the invoices will link you. You should look at a side services that accepts pp.

EIN is OK for paypal & for amazon.

Going slightly off-topic you need to re-do your business plan

What if anything have you done about seeing a tax professional to get all this sorted?

You've been a user here long enough to know forum does not do tax advice.

Have a search of posts by KingRay ,jeffweico. Their posts are formative enough to give you some guidance.

ps issuing invoices via that paypal might be fatal
