I like to know what do you guys tell to people or to some Office when they ask what kind of job do you do?

For example: Online trader,ebay seller ...

whats the best word for it?

Im filling up a form,there is a section that asks :

What sort of self-employed work do you do?

You can just tell people that you own your own business or that you are an entrepreneur.

simple: e-commerce.

i found out long ago that if you tell someone you sell on ebay then they automatically thik your a cheap ass trying to make a few dodgy £'s

i say i "i have my own business/s selling "add product line" online and to retail and trade customers

@tsmt, that's when you pull up in your solid car and threads with no cashflow problems - if they think that, that's their own problem...

Sounds to me like you want a "Cool" anwser for when the ladies Inevitably ask you the Quetion: "So What do you Do?",,If thats the Case tell them you are an: E-Commerce impresario,,,,If you want an Anwser to Fill out Various Legal forms Like Tax Returns, "Self Employed" is Fine

Tell them you deal in wholesale/retail goods through worldwide distributors and head the regional Shipping/Receiving divisions of the US Headquarters. They will just leave you alone since its too complicated anyway.

I tell people on my travels i'm a Freelancer. When in Ukraine I tell girls I'm a "biznisman", as they are unlikely to understand anything else.

When I tried to elaborate with one girl she said "So ze money comes out of ze computer?"
