Tmobile is good though sometimes i get double ip's with the dongle and with the phone i went thru about 120ips in less than a month and used all the ips so after that it was useless and that cost $70 i rec you get that anyways since its only $30 more unlimited service and 5gb of data for $70.

lightmaria 06-23-2012 10:57 AM

the reviews on amazon for the tmboile are so bad lol everyone gave it a 1 star. ppl were like the internet isnt reliable and customer service sucks and hard to set up ect ect. O_O

unkown5454 06-23-2012 01:05 PM

Yes, but many reviews like that come from people who don't know much about computers or cell phones to begin with. I have never seen a dongle of MiFi box that was hard to set up. That's ridiculous.

Now, complaints on signal strength with T-Mobile data is common.

for uK users i just found out giffgaff are offering for £10 250 anytime minutes, unlimited giff gaff to giff gaff network calls, unlimited texts and unlimited internet..so this is also a very cheap stealth option alternative for people for tethering

J1mgg 06-25-2012 04:22 PM

For uk users as well, a cheap solution for getting a number and being used for data is ovivo.

Please read the TnCs though but it gets pretty good comments on a forum. Not sure if I am allowed to post the link though.

200mins, 200 texts and 512mb of data on PAYG sim. Says tethering is allowed but I think you have to have it in a smart phone and you will receive texts messages on it or some other stuff as well.

I betterbaddbthe price, it is £5 up front.

It is against Giffgaff's T&C's to tether on the goodybag above. They will terminate your data connection.

They do however provide data only gigabags which are expressly for tethering or pad use.

These cost £5 for 500mb, £7.50 for 1gb or £12.50 for 3gb all of which last 1 month. However if you use all the data before the end of the month then you cannot buy another and have to use the PAYG option which is still very cheap.

moneyhustler88 06-26-2012 12:18 PM

yeah t mobiles good but i read somewhere apparently ur not even meant to use the data internet packages for contracts on tethering haha lol funny..i use mine to tether all the time on bb..its so fast and good..:heh:

^^^ its same with them all..t mobile don't allow tethering either, as they run the risk of u using seperate ips (doesn't look guide when t mobile allow people to tether) but people still do it and can still do it..so i wouldnt worry...

Nissan2nr22 06-26-2012 02:55 PM

I'm still deciding which dongle to get here in America. I'd love to get the verizon 4g one but its just so much money compared to the others.

T-mobile apparently sucks ass and doesnt give new ip's all the time.

unkown5454 06-26-2012 05:16 PM

SPR.INT...VIR.GIN MOB.ILE...those are the budget providers who have large IP ranges.

moneyhustler88 06-26-2012 06:55 PM

yah never used them ^ t mobiles range isn't bad tbf

unkown5454 06-26-2012 07:43 PM

You are UK though...I don't know about Virgin out there. I was commenting on USA experience.

virgin mobile broadband 2 go

Hello people..Just a quick question..I have 2 devices ( virgin mobile 2 go )..I used 2 dif personal informations.. I also activated one of them on a different city but both have the same 4 first digits IP..in my case 66.87.XX etc..I have about 10 accounts and use a dif IP everytime I go online.. The options is running out and I get a same ip number a lot times and need to keep trying until I get a unused IP..I don;t know if was " my luck " to get 2 devices with the " same " ip or all the virgin devices start with 66.87...,...Can somebody give me a help on this?

Thanks for all and sorry about my english..

Luis

Hello,
Shoot me if this sounds so stupid but why do we need to get a different ip every time? Ebay just did a whole phone verification thing with one of my accounts last night, due to not recognizing me, etc.. So now I have to restart my phone/tethering many times until I get that same ip when I try to sign into that account, is that what we do?
AH , I keep track of ips and make sure to clear cookies and never sign into one account with an ip that has been used on another. What am i missing here? Please advise?

They probably did t recognize your computer, since you clear cookies every time. I had this happen once with my old legit account. They called to verify, thinking it was a diff computer or something. Prob nothing to do with ip. People with old dial up get different ips everytime. Also with mobile broadband and cell data plans, get a range if ip's, usually different. So eb knows this, so it wasnt the ip.

totallylegit 07-08-2012 04:25 PM

So its best to leave cookies there when I exit firefox then? Just be sure you are using the right user account then you -meaning I- should be fine, right?

It is absolutely key to have cookies in place and maintained. You cannot delete cookies anymore. Clearing cookies is a HUGE red flag these days. The separate windows user profile method works like a charm.

Agreed, otherwise I would have major issues when traveling and making sales...

I sold over 300 items in last 2 weeks using my laptop on the go off a girlfriends router 1300 miles away from original location.

I just print save the labels and invoices as XPS files, email them to one of my workers and he packages and ships same day... works out great. Made plenty of money while lounging on vacation.

Are you saying you were remotely connected to the router that was 1300miles away?
