Click on an existing card and click "transfer" from the screen that appears. Then you should able to transfer amounts as low as £1 to a new card.

How much did you add onto the card? If you are using it with eBay you are going to need at least £2 if I recall correctly. PayPal would let you get away with £1 however... but I assume that the reason for using this card is to pay your eBay fees with it, and keep them away from your PayPal/bank balance?

I only paid £1 onto it. I added it to my paypal ok. I will add another £1 and see if it works.

I also see that i can add a bank account to my ebay account. Is this a no no?

I would say yes. If your account gets suspended they can take their fees from u immediately. Isn't the point of Entropay with eBay/PayPal to avoid this happening? Much better to even pay with your PayPal balance than that, since they won't get their fees if your PayPal account becomes suspended.

I dont usually have a card on file i just pay my fees with paypal like you said. Its just i read that having a card on file makes our account look more solid. So i thought that with a bank account on file it looks even more solid.

I will leave the bank account out and just stick with cards

And that (paying with your PayPal balance) is absolutely fine until you get in the situation where eBay becomes suspended but PayPal lives on to "fight another day", in which case they can dip into your bank account if you have insufficient funds in PayPal. Having a bank account on file in PayPal will make your account look more solid, maybe (since it makes your account verified... which is required to sell in the first place on eBay these days), but having it attached to your eBay gives you no advantages whatsoever. To them your account would be in the same standing as it would be if you just added it to your PayPal instead... but in this case u lose out since u just gave them a fail-safe way to always get their fee even if they stiff u.

When you add cards on paypal or anywhere for that matter, The company usually reserves £1 to see if the card matches, You usually get the £1 back after it times out in 3-7 days.

So you wont be able to use the same pound (£) for both paypal and ebay.
And like Elijah says, you need atleast £2 in the account for entropay.

Only for eBay. PayPal is fine with just £1 on the card.
