You can go over your amount limit by listing auction style.

yotano211 09-17-2012 02:41 AM

Yea but don't go over too much, if not paypal limited.

Oh? How many accounts have you done that with?

What happened?

You can go over the monetary amount but not the listing amount.

e.g. if your money limit is £100
and after your 9th sale you've sold £99 worth
then you list your 10th item at 99p starting bid and it could end up selling for £10.
Ergo you've exceeded the monetary amount.

Thats "allowed" ive done it many times to increase limits...which has worked.
I went from 10 to 20 to 40 in 3 months.
My money allowance has also increased from £650 to £1000 to £1700 respectively.

Yeah, I noticed that it let you do that. I went over my amount for quite a few months and then they upped my limit from 10 items to 30 items. I've pretty much doubled my money amount though, so hopefully they up it again pretty soon.

Depends, make sure you hit your limits every month. I had mine lifted within a month and some longer, its eBay at the end of the day

I take it by "lifted" you mean "increased" and not "removed" as in no limits?

igotsuspended 09-17-2012 11:39 AM

If you hits or go over amount limit, you probably get higher limit on the next time eb evaluates your account.
However, we can't exceed all other limits.
