Can I still use my iPad and iPhone?
 

Hi,

I was using one account that got kicked across my Mac, iPad and iPhone. I understand I can still use my Mac by just creating a new user account, but what can I do with the iPad and iPhone, as I found the eB app very useful on the go away from home?

Has anyone continued to use their iPad and iPhone on different stealth accounts? Or did you pick up new iPad/iPhones?

My iPad is wifi and 3G by the way so shared the same wifi IP as my main mac and iphone, plus would log onto vairious ip's when im out and about.

Cheers derbydave, looks like I'll have to get a 'New' iPad and iPhone if I want to use the apps on the go just to be on the safe side...lol

You can use an iPad or Iphone that have been used before as long as you don't use the e/b and p/p apps which uniquely identify the devices they are installed on.

As long as you follow stealth principles for cookies and IP etc. then you are safe to use Safari for logging in the the accounts.

With regards to email, Apple Mail is not safe as it will include your IP address in the email headers so it is best to use the Gmail app which only shows Google's server IP. The app can be configured for multiple email accounts. Just make sure that you leave images disabled which it does by default anyway.

I currently have been using the gmail app to chek email only, i try not to open them on gmail app, but it has happened already, just didnt click on anything. This was all done on wifi on my ipad, usimg my ip linked to my buyer only account which selling ws restricted. Think i am ok?

I only use my Iphone only for Ebay/PP Emails. I use T-Mobile Dongle for all IP needs.
