Default Request to Change order?

I have a buyer who purchased a few items from me, however after he paid he sent me a message asking if i will send it to his mothers address instead.

So when i tried posting it a few days ago, i noticed he did not supply me with a POSTCODE, and have sent him 3 messages requesting his mothers postcode, and have received no response from the buyer.

What do i do? Do i send it to his original address or hold onto it and hope?

He is able to give me low stars on everything since i wasnt able to supply tracking within 24hours of payment because of this postcode story.....

I really dont know what to do here :(

If you've got the address, use Royal Mail's postcode finder.

If you don't want to do this then I personally would hold fire until they respond. Send an email saying as much.

Given it is a repeat buyer, the chance of the buyer causing aggro is fairly low, IMO.

Good luck.

Why dont you pull his contact info and give him a ring? I am assuming we are talking about eb?

Also - how is his feedback? I am not so certain of shipping stuff to other NONREGISTERED addresses (for pp protection, etc.)

He is a first time buyer with about 10 ratings , which is also why i wanted to wait.

I tried to look up his info on ebay but his phone number is invalid.

Sorry, misread your opening post.

I would still get the postcode from the RM website and just send but it's your decision in the end. The value of the items also would be a factor.
