- - UK paypal accounts
( https://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscriber-discussions/49180-uk-paypal-accounts.html)
| oompaloompa | 07-31-2012 03:11 PM | I can test one, it has been tested before by a few other vba sellers I enquired with but yours may be different
but send me one if you want me to try on UK
I also have euro accs, if you want to test on one of them...as previously said almost all sites accept domestic and usa banks
if your vbas actually verify UK paypal and they last, you will really be on to something F.E
current = checking Quote:

Not sure about the whole trusted u.k fellow bit but I'm in a position to test this now
Shoot me a pm if you want. | |
I have tried this First Ed.
US bank account WILL work for UK pp but NOT to verify.
UK pp MUST be verified by UK bank.
AFTER verification, you can add US bank and withdraw.
You will lose quite a bit on exchange since pp SUX with their rate.
Instaverify bank (US) has no use for verification...can only use to withdraw AFTER verification IF you have acct no., transit, etc. info.
All the best. |
| Ebayorbust | 07-31-2012 04:06 PM | Good informative post rsot - cheers. |

All the best. | What was the reason yours failed
I think FE will work if he does it himself.
there are other way's to deal with exchange rate if you have international bnk account, if you add as second account and withdraw. International Current Account |

You can have a US bank account on every country PayPal as far as I know. You should be able to add a US bank account to any PayPal account regardless of country; it's just adding a foreign non-US bank account to a PayPal account (e.g., European PayPal and Asian bank account) that is not possible.
The UK PayPal, US bank account combiniation is definitely possible. | No wonder myths arise when posts are inaccurate.:nono:
You have not looked at paypal correctly OR closely. It is not possible to add a US bank account ,as you suggest, to any country .US Bank laws prevent this. https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/we...ntries-outside
paypal UK allows attachment of a US bank account for withdrawal purposes most of the time. Never has worked for verification in all the years I've been on this forum.
Now, the above URL is different from one that was on paypal at the start of the year. Both UK & Australia were on the list of countries that allowed US bank accounts. Now they are not. But my accounts with US bank accounts still function for transfers. :juggle: |
| First Edition | 07-31-2012 08:12 PM | I've had two users independently add a US bank account to a UK account today. This is not a myth.
We're past that... right now, we're trying to figure out if a UK account must be added first before this is an option. You can add a US bank account to a UK paypal account for withdrawal purposes. On those two accounts, there was already an existing bank account. I believe you can add a US bank account to any paypal account in the world for withdrawal purposes only. You can do it with UK, and with Canada accounts. Maybe there are a few exceptions.. I don't know. I'm curious to try with AUS and Chinese accounts. |
| Global | 08-01-2012 09:11 AM | Subscribing with interest folks :ranger: |
| Stigger | 08-01-2012 09:31 AM | Not been able to do a fresh account today, ive been too busy.
i think i have a little time later on, so will give it a go then. |
Like I was saying - you can add US bank account to withdraw - F.Ed knows this.
The problem is when you go on UK pp to use a bank to VERIFY...only option is bank account with sort code...so unless you have a US bank account with sort code, there is no other option :( |
| First Edition | 08-01-2012 12:01 PM | I didn't know that before the thread :) |
| GreenBean | 08-01-2012 06:02 PM | Complication is the SEARCH facility is non-specific to obtain such info if a user does not know the topic has been discussed.
Using GOOGLE on the SEARCH box gives info.
:juggle: |
| First Edition | 08-01-2012 09:45 PM | I think A LOT of users didn't know this before the thread. How specifically should I search for a very vague and little talked about thread? Come on meow.... I think all those who participated learned quite a bit. Would you like to give it a shot for Aussie paypals? |
I have explored UK pp with couple of users in the past - AUS pp I have not. |
| First Edition | 08-01-2012 10:24 PM | GB is right... it does say on paypal's site you can do this for any country... but paypal also says you can use their service to send money and they make it seem like it's without issues. :pound: |

What's about Australian paypals? |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 10:36 AM | I'd like to know if this works for other countries, such as Australia... |
| Stigger | 08-02-2012 10:46 AM | No real point testing on a new account, rsot have confirmed what we discussed in email in regard only been able to withdraw, the thing i couldn't figure out was why but he has answered that unless things have changed in the last year. |
