Default Replying to buyers

I've sold some items and the buyer wants to collect.

The buyer has asked me through eBay where to collect the items, being cautious I got there mobile and called them personally to arrange pickup.

My question is
... Do ebay monitor these forms and replies, If I enter my home address on the form that was banned by eBay it could get flagged

Yes they do monitor these types of messages, Unless you specified local-pickup or something of that nature it shouldn't be a problem. Did you mention in your ad(s) that you were doing a local-pickup? or do they even have that on UK ebay?

Makes sure you get the buyers ID ( take a pic ) and have them sign an acknowledgement of receipt note or sometihng just to protect yourself.

I never put my address when contacting buyers regarding collection through eBay messages.

I always send them a mobile number to contact to arrange collection. Done quite a few this year, must be the warmer weather getting rid of some larger items. All done successfully. Cash on collection is a nice bonus too. Don't accept PayPal for collected items.

Why would you ever give a buyer your home address/info??????

You should never allow anyone to go near your home. Always keep that private and away from stealth business
