IP Address

I have taken my time to ready through the excellent guide; however got a little stuck at one of the steps: IP address.

Virgin Media say they have a dynamic IP, but clearly not. I've read the forums and many others say the same thing - it doesn't refresh often due the large number of people in the ubr.

So I thought of tethering my mobile phone. However, the issue is, I have already logged into ebay and paypal from my smart phone.

Should I go ahead and tether my phone or look for other solutions?

virgin mobile does repeat ip's a lot, keep track

if you did not keep track of the ip's on your mobile then i would not use tethering as an option. usually tethering will only give you 7-10 ip's and they will repeat often. go with a bigger company's dongle like verizon
