Default eBay/PayPal question!

My eBay account was indefinitely restricted on selling this morning.

My PayPal however is of course is in good order.

If I use another eBay account but which has unmatching name and address with my current PayPal, will this cause my PayPal to get restricted/limited?

What if I use another eBay account but change name and address to closely relate to my current Paypal, will that be a better idea ?

I was looking for similar answer but no one helped me. I was just ignored..
I found someones old posts about PP and Ebay address mismatch. Few guys said it was fine a few years ago but now it's not. You can use it for buying but as soon as you try to list something you will be limited on both PP and Ebay. Those two share information and it will appear to then that you are lying about who you are. Might be a way round it as there is always a way round anything..

Ill answer, then hopefully it can be laid to rest.

You CANNOT use your paypal to another Ebay account
End of story. You can use your paypal on other sites to get payments in though.

The reason a lot of people are ignoring it is because this is stealth 101

This is the VERY first set of questions that we ask when we get here and is one of the reasons why we are here.

NO, do NOT use them as they are all linked and will go down like the others.

This is why they suggest only a 1:1 ration of ebay to paypal.
One goes down, THEY ALL GO DOWN.
weather you connect them now or later.
Paypal and ebay are in bed together, they eventually tell what one spouse is doing to the other.

Hope this answers your questions.

I disagree. There is workarounds in my situation but people will not talk about it in public for OBVIOUS reasons! In fact I see that much of the information is hidden and sometimes I laugh at the answers-solutions that are being given here. But newbies will eat anything because it's all they know. There are a lot of myths floating around here. Never say never! I know this too well.

Address can mismatch to some degree but the problem is when you have another ebay account and you begin changing you first and last name to match similarly to the one that just got suspended will raise flags. I have yet to test it but I am not sure if it's a good idea. One thing I know scarifies must be made.

I used to be afraid to call eBay to verify my identity but as a learned exactly what they were going to ask and do I became so smooth that now it's a piece of cake. It's all about practice and knowledge. If you give the wrong answer you will be screwed. Confidence comes with knowledge.

There are many work a rounds. but the newer members do not know them.

A lot of them come here panicking about what to do.

If you have an ebay that goes down, the paypal can survive for other sites and transactions. To link another ebay to that paypal will link all of your accounts and is a suicide mission. This has been proven time and time again.

The ebay account and paypal account are on the same IP address (assuming)
once the ebay goes down, that ip is banned from making other ebay accounts.

Even in the email when they restrict you, they tell you:
You cannot create another account to sell on as it may lead to suspension.

But my eBay account is not down ... it is limited from selling but I can still buy on it.

If you think so, why not just experiment? trial and error? I do all kinds of things - some work, some dont but I dont expect all info to be given regardless of how I post.

Exactly! Experiment is the only way to find out. That's exactly what I am doing. As time goes by and I get better at what I do I realize that there is not much I can gain from reading this forum. Non the less great forum, especially when you are newbie. Also we have some great resources like buying vcc and ebay acc. Yes of course I don't expect anyone to help because such secrets must stay with whom found it or else eventually too many ppl are going to exploit it and ebay will catch up to it.

I agree... I have paypal/eb with mismatched name for over 4 years that sell over 1000 items per month... and address / ip is shared with banned account...

Anything is possible... Its all about how good you are with eb/pp and how much work your willing to do.... But its VERY YMMV
