I received 2 micro deposits fine, verified Paypal account with no problem. Received this email today from Paypal:
On Jan 14, 2013, we attempted to transfer $0.20 USD from your bank account ending in xxxx. This transfer was returned by your bank on the reason below:
This is an invalid bank account number.
As a result, this bank account has been disabled from your PayPal account.

Check to see if you can use that acct number somewhere besides pp.

Could be a problem in bluebird system or Paypal screwed up the number it sent them. Double check all the info is correct in pp and in bb.

Wal Mart had a huge display of the bluebird cards stuck in the aisles, now they are gone.

Did something change?

The phone call verification thing happens to a lot of people. I realized it months ago when trying to withdraw money at an atm. I would not classify it as a big deal although it is scary at first. A quick 2 minute game of phone tag got my funds cleared with the quickness.

Any bluebird updates within th last 30 days gang?

On your account, you have primary card with direct deposit information or a bank account and routing numbers. However, 4 subaccounts are card only with different numbers and billing addresses. You use primary account to fund those subaccounts.
There is good thing about billing address. We can add any address we want and make it primary, so it will be card billing address.
If you want to verify pp with this card, you can only verify one because subaccounts do not have bank and routing numbers attached to it.

Just got invite from GoBank. Started signing up and found out it is owned by GreenDot. I am not sure doing anything with GreenDot is a good idea. Too many bad experiences on the forum with them.

I have been using BlueBird on Amazon Stealth for deposits, doing about $8k deposits every 2 weeks, no issues so far. Great card, works well, however, I just found out there is a $10k spending limit per month! :( So you can't get your money out... you can load up $20k per month but only take $10k per month, ridiculous... beware!

@alekov, been reading Bluebird gives some issues on mismatched names - you are not having this problem?
