Default router issues for IP address change

hi all

i have a slight problem

i am running a Technicolor TG582n router for my fibre broadband

i reboot to change IP for each EB acc

the router takes upwards of 10 mins to connect when i reset

however if its off overnight it connects after 30 seconds on reboot

is there a way of rebooting quicker as switching between 10 + accounts is a pain

I have a way that can do it without switching it off.

i use a router and can swap between user accounts.

it automatically changes the mac address thus changing the to I.P Pool for that user account.

Its not easy but its really safe for everything.

Sounds as if a cold boot is the better option i.e. power off rather than a reboot which I assume you do through the browser interface.

Powering off will probably reset the bootrom as it powers down thereby allowing a faster aquisition of IP on start up

i use a program called bootit bare metal to create my windows accounts or windows installs on the same hard drive.

this allows me to use technitium mac address changer on each windows install and set a different M.A.C address for each Windows install.

every time i boot in to a different account on my computer technitium changes the mac to the i.p pool for that account automatically meaning i never having to worry about i.p addresses

it might work the same on different windows user accounts if you log off each one when changing, I'm not sure.

Call the service provider for new modem? Sounds odd on the tech side.
