Just thought Id share a 'possible' new method.

if you're like me and living in NYC, we don't have a walmart here.

But, target not only takes paypal now, but they offer cash returns for paypal refunds...They have apparently RECENTLY updated this policy (as of 10/2012). Before it was only a gift card from target.

Target : Expect More Pay Less

PayPal Purchases: refund will be issued in the form of cash (in-store returns of orders placed after 10/09/2012) or eGiftCard (online returns or in-store returns of orders placed before 10/09/2012).

Ill give them a ring tomorrow to see what the deal is. But, I am assuming that if the order was online you might get an egiftcard. I know it says before the date, but might as well give it a go.

That could work for small amounts I guess, but I can't picture someone doing $10k in return to target each month lol

Yeah sorry 3V is UK only not USA..and in answer to the poster who asked if this will work for UK too..as far as am aware no because walmart cards aren't available in the UK

Ok, so I am getting conflicting information.

I called target and they said that the credit will be issued in the same form of payment within 10 days if purchased online and returned to target.com (she gave me a hard time in answering about STORE returns.)

So I am calling MY store to ask what the process would be for paypal returns.

Will keep you guys posted.

OK, Just called and you get a GIFT CARD as an instore return.
Oh well. It was worth a shot.

The only thing I would do before hand is ask the seller if they are willing to ship to another address. What my seller did (for their protection which is understandable) is scratch off the back of the gift card and record the serial numbers for their protection against fraud. I got my card today after i ordered on the 14th. Checked the balance and everything was a go.

I used to buy from walmart egift cards and after you got a few of them(egift) you can order something like an ipad direct from walmart paying with egift cards and you can pick it up or ship to your real address

Today i tried to buy some walmart egift and the order did not go throw so it might be a glitch or egift card game is gone

If you do Walmart same day pickup, they give you an actual receipt, and give you the money back in cash when paid by PayPal and returned to the store. I've been doing it for over a year now.

I have done this and when I tried to return it they want to see my DL.

Too risky for me.
