a bad news from ccnow - ccnow will can your account if you sell counterfeits

(Unauthorized replicas of licensed merchandise).

As of today, your account has been suspended/terminated. Payment
will proceed as per the Payment Schedule, however, an additional
reserve may be held in the case of negative activity in your
account balance.

well,one guy bought my item and he said it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and ask me refund some money , totally 130usd include shipping fee, so i refund half :65usd , i have ebay message record,but this buyer start his trick, said item is not auth ,file a dispute and wanna all money back, to say the truth,if he told me first that he wanna all money back, maybe i will agree with that!

so i ask him return item back then i refund him all, then i get ccnow email about this!

i think merchant account still cant stand "charge back" issue, so the best way is as u said: take care of each buyer,but sometimes it's really not easy !!!!


but i apply a new ccnow acc again, as i accept 5000usd each week and i think ccnow still a nice option ! and i have sent email and ask if i can apply another account !

ps: use ccnow for 2 months and never met one buyer like this ....

Well at least CCNOW says it'll pay you the money, even if it holds it for a little while.

Some places will just take the money and that's it. I mean, worse than paypal, they just say your money is lost and you will never get it.

This policy helps CCNow to maintain our low retail margin. Jerry--Remove the VERO Name from your Listings title--(dont know how youre getting them to close anyhow?)--If ebay misses it--another software program will catch it--

i.e. instead of NIKE shoes--Maybe Famous High End BBall Shoes Rare or something..

Straight--Cartier/Rolex/Nike/Ipod/Wii---if a new acct-no history-- they will tag you..

BTW--again--BOTTOM LINE--they (liek all merch acct processors)--do NOT want the hassle of customers emailing them, filling up their email box with complaints about fraud. or insinuated fraud..
Ive had 2--over the last year--both from same city/state--i think same guy?
Anyhow- BOTH times--he tried to keep item and want refund--i "spammed him" with about 3 emails/day and i cc: ccnow--stating--no refunds until product is returned,perios.
They backed me up--never heard from the guy in either case again..

I am going through something very similar with ccnow
I refunded a customer, said she wasnt satisfied with the bag. said fine.
Now, I found out, ccnow sends an email to the customer asking them to justify why they didnt like the item. customer said bag was ⊗⊗⊗⊗. BAM
Investigation blah blah, has been going on for a week, they still cannot tell me when funds will be release.
Lesson I learned, never refund through ccnow for hot item because you are at the mercy of what the client will reply. Customer told me she wrote ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but didnt mean ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ??? Well, now it put my account under the wire.
So next time, I will send them a check, a money order, pay from my paypal to theres whatever but it is really the refund that triggers CCNOW
or at least thats my lesson learned. Just thought i'd share

CCNow risk management has closed your account and it will not be
allowed to reopen. You'll have to find another service provider.

i think ccnow wont care about VERO Name if buyer dont file dispute , as my ccnow acc run 2 monthes, and most of the title include VERO name, and they never ask me about that!

ps: as rosie said : the case opened in ccnow can be reopen even it closed!

so i think it's better refund via paypal , and dont let a lot of refund via ccnow

so if one customer file complians, refund him via paypal, and ask the customer to close the CCNOW complians?? i think 99.9% will close his complians?
