p/p will normally only accept a signature as confirmation of delivery despite any feedback comments.
They haven't got the sense to figure it out and robotically follow their "procedures" manual which says it must have a signature to confirm delivery or it hasn't been delivered.
Warehouses/distribution premises are not always located in the same area as registered offices/business premises.
