depends on the bank, some banks only allow up too $300, some a little more...

There's only 1 way to find out, go to the bank and try!!

Also depends if the $400 is available e.g. no holds on it, cleared.

When I had a Legit PP account I was only allowed to withdraw $400 per day via ATM, which I did about 4x a week. I also paid for gas, retail purchases, deposit on a new car, you name it I used my Debit card.

I think my limit for a purchase was $3,000.00 per day?

I was charging over $10k per month on my card. That was pre-stealth when I was stupid. ;)

I contacted PP about increasing my limit of $400 per day and they told me that was the Limit and nothing could be done to increase.

That PP account is since gone and so is my PP Debit card.

You need to check the daily limit.

ATM withdrawals differ from in the branch ones.

paypal is restrictive with these cards & therefore withdrawals.

Come to think of it, paypal is just plain restrictive

:pout:

ps there is a method to get a higher amount of funds from the debit card too.

Involves ATM use and time of day......

let's see who has the best imagination

I have my pp debit and 400.00 is my limit.

Remember the 24 hour works great if your timing is on.

Ex

Sometimes I will go hit the atm a few blocks from me at 12:01 am because I hate pp having any of my money and if I can hit them for 800.00 in that 24 hr period I do.

FYI you can call them and ask them to raise the limits of $3000 per day. If your credit is good they will raise the spending limit to $5k per day.

Did you manage to get the ATM withdrawal limits increased?

I'll have to go back and check my old records but I believe PP raised my Daily Spending Limit to either $5,000 or $10,000.

Can't remember about the ATM maximum.

When I get a chance I'll go thru my old files and see if I can find the paperwork.

I used my Debit card to buy anything, including Dunkin Donuts. :pound:

Simple. Get another PP debit card your ATM limit goes up to $800/day. ;)

Elijah 01-08-2013 10:29 PM

OP:
What I would do is take advantage of the higher spending limit that they provide, and load some funds onto a prepaid card that allows credit/debit card loads... this still counts as a purchase. Then you could withdraw from the cards and you just beat PP's daily withdrawal limit.

I know that there are cards with like a $2500 daily withdrawal limit... so just buy as many of them as you need to make the most of your daily spending limit. E.g. buy 2x $2500 withdrawal limit prepaid cards if you wanted to withdraw $5000 a day (presuming PayPal allows you to spend that much per day of course).

Interesting. Anyone know a US prepaid card that allows ATM withdrawals? You can't withdraw from regular gift cards.
