Default Buyer trying to claim!!

So i have a buyer who bought from me in December.
She contacted me a week ago stating she hadn't received her item and wanted a refund.
I checked the tracking information and it show delivered and signed for.

I told her it has been delivered and to check with other recipients at her work address if they perhaps had her parcel, and supplied her with the tracking number again.

She now emails me today saying that she tried to make a claim for the parcel, but royal mail told her that i have to do it.

I have now told her AGAIN that it has been signed for and that she cannot claim
for the parcel.
It definitely went to her address, as the signature on the parcel is in the name of the building she put on the parcel.

How can i stop her from making me claim, and/or opening a case against me on ebay as i know which way that will go.
Surely this not my fault or royal mails since it was her choice to put her work address on the parcel to begin with!

2 Schools of thought on this one .
Some say refund and avoid the hassle .
I say let them claim , too many scammers allready on ebay without more profiting from things.
If you sent it to an address reg with PP and you have a signature you should not have a problem .
Cases only count against your selling status if they win the case .

The only thing I would say is providing it was sent to the address on the p/p payment and not an alternative they requested after payment was made there is no case to answer.

work signed for it, common problem....she probably did not get it, it got lost or taken at work.

She cannot win a claim on paypal as it is signed for at her registered paypal address, you will win.

The name on signature, try calling and asking for them, they are probably receptionist or postroom, and mention this on claim notes - that this person is confirmed as being at this building.

Reread the post... sounds like she requested it to go to her work address. Who puts a work address in paypal anyway. The outcome is dodgy on this. Likely OP will lose the case since did not go to registered paypal address. Only chance is if seller gets a compassionate agent and can show the ebay message where buyer asks for alternate shipping address. Even so, if OP is small time seller eb/pp has shown they will side with buyer 90% of time.

It is not clear from the OP's post as to whether or not the address he sent the item to was the address stated on the p/p payment, hence my first post.

Besides, lots of people in the UK and I'm sure other countries use their work address as their registered prime delivery address as it saves them the time and inconvenience of then having to go to their local sorting office to collect packages that are either too big for their mail box or require a signature.

I didnt change the address in any way.
I sent it to the address she had on paypal as i process my postage on paypal
as well.
She also did not ask me to change it.

I hope she doesnt try claim from royal mail as well, Because i know i certainly am not!
