Default Stealth on a MAC

All,

I am going to be investing in an iMAC, using stealth is it the same process?

Is there anything that is different that I would need to be careful of?

Obviously having different users but current cookies through my windows laptop, then creating users on a mac with no browsing history, should I prepare for problems?

Thanks
H

Same thing. I do prefer to use google chrome as a browser over safari, as safari tends to have some issues with uploading images, i can save my passwords with chrome etc; however that could be because my OS is still snow leopard, not mountain lion, and safari may work better on newer systems.

I use a Mac and it works very well with stealth. Might be a good idea to use Firefox over Chrome though, as Chrome has privacy issues.

Hmm I didn't know that about Chrome for Mac. That's all I've been using...

I use chrome on my imac with an add-on 'User-Agent Switcher'. This is a bit like atomic web where you can mask your browser. Some accounts I have using a mac browser and others, when looking at the IP, come back as a windows machine. Never had any issues. Don't like firefox at all.

Chrome has a option to use PRIVATE Chrome, it's called "New incognito Window"
Then this is what it says under it.

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close all open incognito windows. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you
Learn more about incognito browsing.
Because Google Chrome does not control how extensions handle your personal data, all extensions have been disabled for incognito windows. You can reenable them individually in the extensions manager.

Safe or not? Also portable firefox or chrome, I use to use at work and surf websites and work never knew what websites I was on and I never had to delete any history at all. And I would always use the private option from the application.
