Very, very close. +/- 2 years, lol.

Yes, insurance is peanuts on fast cars when you're an old fart.

55 was my low end 57 was the number due to the 60's music, Z06 ownership, and business talk/act. Plus all the info in your brain!

And insurance is only $138 for me on a Z06 I already checked last year. So it's not so bad!

I'm in my mid thirties and loving it, I'm living in an undisclosed behind the iron curtain. Foreigners are like rock-stars here, I think I'm de-ageing.

Dorner manhunt: Search resumes in Big Bear mountains - latimes.com

Hate to change the subject, but I'm wondering how this Cop situation will end?

He's already killed three and said he is going to kill 40 more LA cops.

They say Youth is wasted on the Young. What I'd give to go back 25 years with the knowledge I have today.

30's is the best.

I am 31 and look 22 (girls who asked me out from work said and though I was early 20s, even a girl 20 asked me out last year very very very hot, for a chubby guy I am damn sexy! Oh and married last month! Now taken!) Sax4, I wish I was back in the states and never left! But I am happy I did.

I think the best moments are ages when you grow up in your, and know it all. And no matter if you are my age of Roscoe's age! You will always be a kid in your mind! Our bodies get old, but are brains don't.

I think how great it would have been in this country if I had come ten years ago, but I wouldn't have enjoyed it so much as I do no because now I'm a very confident 36yr old. Also I wouldn't have been able to make a living online ten years ago.

I also look very young for my age, which is great when you're living in a student city

Everyone I meet says I act and sound like I'm 30. When I speak to people on Skype or the phone then meet them in person they're like, holy chit, you sounded young on the phone.

Then I tell them I'm older than thier father. They all say, my father acts & sounds his age but you are far from it. My father is 90 but looks and acts like a 70 year old, no kidding.

I love kids. At parties I'm the one playing outside on the swingset with them while people my age are talking about 401k, pensions, medicare, etc... like GreenBean says, FFS!

Ha, very few were making money online 10 years ago.

The interent didn't really explode until about 2007. That's when social sites took off, technology got very cheap (even free) and the internet was now mainstream.

Now with the Smartphone craze and 3 billion peple with cellphones it will enter the next phase.

This is the infancy of the internet. I started in 1994 when I received a CD rom in the mail for this thing called America Online. I got my low speed dialup with 72 baud or something and it was off to the races.

I would sometimes wait 20 minutes for a huge graphics page to load.

I was late to the party with working online. Made my first serious cash in 2007, bought some car accessories for a less than a tenth of their real cost. Made a 5 figure sum, and went from there really.

Now I live in a city where the average wage is less than 200 euros a month. Its a beautiful city, I don't work so much, rather be spending my time drinking coffee with beautiful ladies

Simple stuff.
I already have been buying RE and own some rentals and a nice chunk of land a major store needs badly.

Actually flipped a house in 2000 I paid 124k for, put new carpet in, painted the walls, put in some trees and scrubs and sold it within a month for 175.

Bought the home to live in it but realtor said wow, you made this house awesome, I think I might have a buyer for it.

Turned out to be one of the people who looked at it before us and did not see the potential in it.

As Aspkin has said, we have a property with a store front in the bottom and an apartment in the top. Nice monthly profits taking in two payments for rent.

I like making money and only have to collect rent. One problem you have when making rental money is the tenant. Screen them very well so you dont get one who wont pay or destroys your property.

And Aspkin knows that if you clear decent money and screen people the money comes in and you 95% dont have to do anything.

I was thinking it was your first time the way you made it sound! LOL

Very nice profits!

I wouldn't want to deal with collecting rent at all. I have a friend who owns 6 or 7 homes down in Florida, he does very well but some tenants can be a real pain and destroy it and not even pay! They should have some kind of a law against this! I wouldn't deal with properties myself, unless it was in this country were you can rape the prices on people cause they make a lot!

Former Landlord here, and I mean Former, lol.

As SandyD stated, pre-screening is CRITICAL to being a landlord. Treat this as a business, most don't.

I would verify employers, past landlords, etc...

I also ran Credit and Background checks and made the Potential Renter pay for the service (less than $100). If they passed my checking then I credited the background check to their deposit.

From the time a tenant stops paying rent to actually being evicted takes appox 5+ months. 5 months of rent gone forever, lawyer fees, and then the damages to your unit.

90% of renters are good, it's the other 10% that make it miserable.

BTW, a single mother with kids can be almost impossible to get a judge to evict. The courts give them tons of time to move out.
