Instant Withdrawl

I just made a withdrawal request and the money appeared immediately in my bank account 0_0.

What the... ? Do they process so fast ? It's a UK account.

boost 02-13-2013 07:24 PM

Ummm.....

It always takes 2 days from the time I request a withdrawal. UK paypal works differently from everything I have read on this board.

testdog 02-13-2013 07:26 PM

It made a huge impression to me ! I just logged into my ebank page to see something else and I see the amount and I was like wow !

GhostWhoWalks 02-13-2013 07:27 PM

I called up my bank once and they told me they do 2 paypal deposits per day. So maybe you got the right timing on that one!

testdog 02-13-2013 07:33 PM

Haha yeah, but it was awesome !

moneyhustler88 02-13-2013 07:43 PM

Yeah well I've heard now it's all about the time you withdraw the money on PayPal..but then again I also read on here it's about WHO your bank is..for example: I withdraw on Halifax anytime of the day..takes 2 days to go into my bank..I withdraw with HSBC anytime of the day..it's always instant

testdog 02-13-2013 08:12 PM

My bank is Lloyds !

When I need to open accounts again I will go to HSBC =}

moneyhustler88 02-13-2013 11:00 PM

Lyolds is instant? damn

GreenBean 02-14-2013 12:34 AM

Lloyds is not recommended for stealth.

Better and other choices exist.

Avoid them if you can, 'hustler.

If there is a name mismatch on the account expect it to go down.

testdog 02-14-2013 12:17 PM

Oh I had no clue !

vxmotorsport 02-14-2013 12:45 PM

I'm not sure on other country's but paypal uk is now faster payments.

So when you transfer it will say it can take up to 2 hours to appear, every time I see this it's instant.

However PayPal have the ability to review your payment, 24 hours, 48 hours or 72 hours.

I always get instant or 72 hours.

For the record I'm with RBS

testdog 02-14-2013 12:48 PM

Right ! I was lucky to get it instant... and after an hour have the account limited !

if you worried about PP getting your money and you don't have an account to transfer to......remove the DD so PP can not tke it.

How do you do that ? With a first look I can't find that option.

vxmotorsport 02-14-2013 02:06 PM

i can cancel DD in my online banking dude

testdog 02-14-2013 02:08 PM

I don't understand how you can do that. If I call the bank (phonebanking), what should I ask exactly ?

Even if you cancel dd, they can still reverse a transaction ?

vxmotorsport 02-14-2013 02:08 PM

well paypal can take money from your account as you have a direct debit setup, if you cancel the direct debit they no longer have the link with your bank

testdog 02-14-2013 02:09 PM

DD is the only way they can reverse a transaction ?

They can't come up with excuses when talking to the bank "suspicious activity" e.t.c ?

vxmotorsport 02-14-2013 02:12 PM

That im not 100% sure, but id imagine if you cancel the agreement any money they take would be illegal and unauthorized.
