Default Instant Withdrawl

I just made a withdrawal request and the money appeared immediately in my bank account 0_0.

What the... ? Do they process so fast ? It's a UK account.

Ummm.....

It always takes 2 days from the time I request a withdrawal. UK paypal works differently from everything I have read on this board.

I called up my bank once and they told me they do 2 paypal deposits per day. So maybe you got the right timing on that one!

Yeah well I've heard now it's all about the time you withdraw the money on PayPal..but then again I also read on here it's about WHO your bank is..for example: I withdraw on Halifax anytime of the day..takes 2 days to go into my bank..I withdraw with HSBC anytime of the day..it's always instant

Lloyds is not recommended for stealth.

Better and other choices exist.

Avoid them if you can, 'hustler.

I'm not sure on other country's but paypal uk is now faster payments.

So when you transfer it will say it can take up to 2 hours to appear, every time I see this it's instant.

However PayPal have the ability to review your payment, 24 hours, 48 hours or 72 hours.

I always get instant or 72 hours.

For the record I'm with RBS

I don't understand how you can do that. If I call the bank (phonebanking), what should I ask exactly ?

Even if you cancel dd, they can still reverse a transaction ?

well paypal can take money from your account as you have a direct debit setup, if you cancel the direct debit they no longer have the link with your bank

DD is the only way they can reverse a transaction ?

They can't come up with excuses when talking to the bank "suspicious activity" e.t.c ?

That im not 100% sure, but id imagine if you cancel the agreement any money they take would be illegal and unauthorized.
