There are awesome things you can get on eBay for 99 cents including shipping.

I am a bit concerned if buying a lot of these per day may raise any issues ? Thanks.

Whether you are buying them for "legitimate" reasons or not buying too many 99 cent items will raise a flag.

If e/b decide it is f/b manipulation then that is what it will be regardless of what you might care to argue with them.

You must consider how ebay will react to the purchases.

there is too high of a chance they will regard these as feedback manipulation.

Just because you think one way, never think ebay will think the same.
