Start afresh, new everything. Read the ebay Stealth Book before you proceed. Best investment you will ever make.

Why take the risk?

You need to have several accounnt already running as backu might get away with this for a very short time period but it will eventually go down.

Hi all,

Thanks for advise, I have setup new PayPal and eBay account, also have other eBay accounts in the background. I just thought as the PayPal account is still open I may as well open some more eBay accounts and add the old PayPal account to it. If they get closed so what as I am not going to use that PayPal account for anything else.

This is a great site for info. The mistake a lot of us make in the start is trying to setup new account quickly as we have just been shut down and have stock to sell and fail to see the bigger picture.

The best advise I have read on this site is get you infrastructure in place, it my cost money but it is money well spend, and start slow, and buy the aspkin eBay and amazon books.

If you set them up all correct at the start you will get the snowball effect rather than hitting the new account hard at the start and getting closed down at the start.

Also could people not give out advise on hear say rather than fact as it can be quite confusing. As some people say accounts cannot,t be opened when it has been shut down as I had a amazon account closed which was reinstated when I contacted them.

Thanks all

All fresh now for eb/pp combination.

The old pp that is alive can still be used for other purposes but avoid it for eB.

You never wrote WHY your eB was closed - what happened?

Hi,

The same reason most people get closed down for, vero, branded products. I removed all of them from my main account but still got closed. My own fault new to eBay( 4 month old). But I am shocked as someone has the same product and sold over 2500 of them. They are not high end stuff, £5-£7. I had 100% feedback, they shut all 3 accounts which were linked to my PayPal.

Never be shocked - that someone has probably experimented and done hard work to figure out how to stay below the radar.
