VOIP Provider

Hey guys... I need an awesome VOIP provider (and very cheap) who provides a desktop client with the ability to call right from your desktop and also send SMS.

I was very happy with RebTel but their app doesn't works on Windows 8 :/

What did GOOGLE show you? Define cheap? :

Did you check with their customer service to see if they are going to offer Windows 8 users?

I've done some research but I only found crappy software and low-budget companies...
Rebtel is just extremely good to abandon...
Cheap means cheaper than Skype...
