Last time I made a withdrawal, I got it instantly.

Hm, age makes a lot of sense.

Could the volume/frequency of usage/transactions on the account matter ?

Lately my withdrawals have been taking a bit longer than usual. I usually get them next day after it shows "complete". Now it's taking 2 days after. I believe it has to do with paypal's new rules about not being so quick to hold peoples funds.

Day of the week doesn't affect completion, but it might affect the funds showing up in your bank.

I always do my transfers at midnight and transfers are completed by midday the following day, even on new accounts.
