Default Inventory Solution?

Ok so I have oversold a couple of times in the past few months and I can't stand when this happens. I feel like I keep very accurate records and I can never understand how I get things mixed up. Is their any automated software that can integrate with ebay and track not what you have sold but what has been accounted for. For example the only way to know your true quantity is if you include items sold, items awaiting payment, items awaiting shipment, and active listings. Any ideas?

Yea man, this happens to me too. I write everything down on a piece of paper and make a check list, when something sells, I check it off.

Still get mixed up sometimes though.

I think he is talking about Blackthorne which you get with a store subscription.

Blackthorne - that's a type of cider here.

Still none the wiser on this.

I think you`d be better off with the cider than the app. At least it would make managing inventory more fun.

I think you're right. Best to save the money, get pissed up and forget about inventory problems.

Default Inventory Solution?

I got a store and it comes with a free subscription to selling manager pro which seems to have an inventory section. I will have to try it out and post back

The only issue with that is if you are running multiple accounts.

Trying to keep track of inventory on multiple accounts using that would be a real pita.

I use quickbooks for this, it has an inventory tracking method for sales and pending sales.

When I list an item it counts as a pending sale and when it actually sells i record the amount and then its sold. It is a great way to keep track of inventory and revenues at once.

Hey sorry, been a little busy. So selling manager pro seems to have a decent inventory solution but I just realized something... I list multiple auctions for the same item but manipulate the title so ebay doesn't pick it up as a duplicate (shh don't tell). Therefore, I don't think it would be a good idea to record two separate auctions as the same item in inventory. Hmmmmmm.....
