What's the buyer's feedback? Verified pp? What country to send to? All factors to consider

Re: E cheque FROM BUYER OF IPHONE 5

Wait until its cleared. Sometimes its done by mistake. Just make sure there is no red flag next to the transactioned and in the details it says eligible next to seller protection. I've gotten these payments a few times

GTB 04-03-2013 05:22 PM

you should wait 110%

GTB 04-03-2013 05:23 PM

moneyhustler88 04-03-2013 05:49 PM

stevebills 04-03-2013 06:08 PM

Good Decision! :thumb:

And send your customer a nice little note, letting them know why the shipment will be delayed a few days.

echeques can and do bounce.

NEVER send your item until full clearance.

Be wise to this.

:juggle:

PS: in the thread below, a bounced echeque cause much grief for the seller

sometimes the buyer just doesn't have enough funds in his account and sends an e-check, usually nothing to fear as long as you wait for it to clear

SimpleX 04-04-2013 03:33 AM

Always wait. I even wait an extra day when I receive an e-cheque. You can never be too sure with PP. If you have good feedback on the account, I'd ask for cash on collection or bank 'deposit' for high ticket items like iPhones etc etc. You can cut PP out the loop all together.

You can also e-mail the buyer and explain you are waiting for e-cheque to clear if you feel that will keep him at ease.
