Default Advice with buyer & postage ebay

I recently sold a designer tshirt on ebay which my mum got me from her holiday but didn't fit me. It only went for £10 but because of the weight and size of the tshirt and tags and bag I wanted to send it recorded delivery which was £4.00 I put it to £5.00 on eBay.
Anyway i got a message from the winner saying can i send it without a signature as she's sending it to charity.
How do i respond to this without sounding rude? And i would definitely not do this right as am guessing that sending without a signature means they can just say they never received it? What would you reply and say?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

just tell her your policy is to send anything of some value with recorded, as you are not covered if you do not. Either that or send standard, if it does not turn up, claim with the post office, you would need proof of postage and the receipt for that though, as without basic evidence they give your 6 x 1st class stamps back..

I would explain to them that Royal Mail have lost some of your items in the past so you don't want to take the risk.

The charity thing sounds suspicious to me they will be claiming item not received for a refund

Say that if she is sending the item to a charity, she is actually covered for a tax deduction so the postage costs can be recovered.

Whats her feedback as a buyer? Her pp is verified? Tell her you need to talk to her about this - have a light chat - charity is good but have to make sure legit...need some proof

I usually say that due to past experiences i am unable to send it without a tracking number as royal mail tend to lose more items without a tracking number and you send your items with tracking to provide reassurance to both you and your buyers.

Non-verified AND asking for different address? Not good - not covered. Enjoy the jacuzzi
